What is a black hole ?
A black hole is the area of space wherein no object can escape its gravitational pull. While astronomers believe that black holes exist, there is not enough evidence to support such claims. However, studies have shown that items that have sunk into a black hole will remain within infinitely. Black holes consist of a huge concentration of mass, which is the matter responsible for its gravitational force. Many scientists agree that these black holes are created after the death of a massive star, which is about ten times the sun’s size.
Since black holes have intense gravitational pull, all items including light can escape them. As the name suggests, black holes have no light within, causing the black hole’s appearance to remain dark forever. However, scientists still cannot find black holes in space, but has found areas where huge amounts of mass are contained within a dark area.
According to astronomers, the sun would never develop into a black hole, even though it is a star. Scientists agree and emphasized that the sun could endure as its current state for more than 5 billion years.
Scientists explain that entering a black hole is similar to the experience astronauts feel when orbiting the earth for the first time. However, once the ship moves closer to the black hole, the areas closest to the hole would experience more pull, which could become an uncomfortable sensation, as the pull would start to crush the ship and the people within it.

“Since black holes have intense gravitational pull, all items including light can escape them.” Should be read “CANNOT escape them”
